Transit & interconnect

For organisations that need to connect directly to Computle — for example a network with a customer hosted on, or reaching, our infrastructure — we offer a paid private VLAN (PVLAN) interconnect providing dedicated capacity to our network.

This is offered where there is not the mutual benefit to justify settlement-free peering. It is a paid, not settlement-free arrangement, and provides connectivity to Computle’s own network and announced prefixes only — it is not full IP transit to the wider internet.

It is available at select locations only. The pricing below is for LINX LON1.

How it works

The interconnect is delivered over the LINX Ethernet fabric, not a physical cross-connect. We provision a dedicated, rate-limited VLAN across the LINX shared switching platform between your LINX-connected port and ours, giving you private capacity to AS213513 that is isolated from the public peering LAN and route servers.

This means you (or your carrier) need a port on the same LINX metro. Provisioning is a soft change on the fabric with no additional physical cabling, and both IPv4 and IPv6 are carried over the VLAN. The committed rate is enforced on the LINX platform, so you receive the full bandwidth you order.

LON1 pricing

A flat monthly rate per VLAN, plus any one-off costs to connect to us (cross-connect and installation), quoted per order. Pricing is indicative and subject to change; figures are confirmed at the time of quotation.
